Civilian Bikes

In a small garage back in 2005 the first Civilian bike was forged by hand. 2012 saw the launch of a full product range covering Road, Mountain, and Cyclocross bikes and the need for a new web presence to capture the essence of the brand—cycles designed by cyclists, for cyclists.

After in-depth dialogue with the client about the the roots, ethos and future aspirations for the company, we were able to pinpoint and portray the authentic nature of the brand through the use of lifestyle-based photography, copy tone, and messaging to uphold it.

Structurally, we devised a simple and clear information architecture and navigation, and built the site using WordPress as a CMS including a company blog we named ‘CVLN LIFE’.
