SMART911’s mission is to put more information in the hands of 911 operators and emergency response teams in order to facilitate them doing their jobs. The service allows subscribers to enter detailed information about all members of their household, including pets, any medical conditions that emergency teams should be aware of, and important contact information.

We began by designing a new logo for SMART911. The energetic colors and bold typeface create a strong focus for the web site.

The requirements for the site were twofold: SMART911 wanted to attract new cities and counties to purchase their service and to create a user interface for subscribers that is easy to use for people with varying degrees of computer literacy.

In addition we worked with SMART911’s programmers to deliver accessible CSS/XHTML templates.
